Rocky’s Big City Games & Sports Bar will open next month at the Eastern Hills Mall.
The family entertainment center and sports bar will be located in the former Dave & Buster’s on the Transit Road side of the mall toward JC Penney.
The 38,000-square-foot space will offer arcade games, bowling, bumper cars and laser attractions. It will have a sports bar with nearly 40 large-screen TVs and an extensive menu of American-style casual fare. A showroom will feature live weekly entertainment, including a monthly performance by hypnotist and comedian Kevin Hurley. There are six private rooms that can be booked for birthday parties.
The company is in the process of hiring 150 people to staff the location.
Entertainment complex Latitude 360 had originally been destined for that spot, but the Florida-headquartered company has been beleaguered by financial trouble so the deal was scrapped.
