A convenience store in Fredonia sold a ticket for Wednesday night's Powerball lottery drawing that will bring the winner a $1 million prize.
The winning "quick pick" ticket was sold at the Fredonia Food Mart on Temple Street, but the winner has yet to come forward, a spokeswoman for the state Gaming Commission said Thursday morning.
The winner has one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize. The prize must be claimed at a customer service center, the closest of which to Fredonia is at 165 Genesee St. in Buffalo.
There was no overall winner of the drawing, which would have come with $500 million in winnings.
