Herschell Carrousel Museum closed for the season

NORTH TONAWANDA – The Herschell Carrousel Museum issued a thank-you on Thursday to everyone who visited and supported the museum this past year.

The museum closed for the season on Jan. 2 and remains closed until to April 1, with the exceptions of special events. Private parties, tours and photo shoots can be scheduled by contacting the museum by email at info@carrouselmuseum.org.

The museum will be open during Presidents’ Break, from Feb. 15 to 19, and will celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Week. Each day of that week will feature a different STEM theme and activity. There will also be a St. Patrick’s Celebration from noon to 4 p.m. March 12.

Opening weekend for the 2016 season will be from noon to 4 p.m. on April 2 and 3.

This year there will be a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the 1916 Herschell #1 Special Carrousel.
