Cheektowaga man sent to jail for damaging police car

A 38-year-old Cheektowaga man was ordered Wednesday to spend up to six months in the Erie County Correctional Facility by Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul S. Piotrowski for damaging a town police car.

William B. Lippincott of Wilshire Road was arrested by police outside his former girlfriend’s home on Ivanhoe road Nov. 11 after she called for help. After being put in the patrol car Lippincott broke a vehicle window and damaged police camera equipment. He pleaded guilty to criminal mischief.
