Lackawanna man arrested for Lancaster bank robbery

Ronald Anthony McCarter Jr., 24, of Lackawanna was arrested on a federal criminal complaint Wednesday for an Oct. 29 robbery at the Key Bank branch on Broadway in Lancaster.

U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. said McCarter, who was identified through the bank surveillance system, faces a prison term of up to 20 years and a fine of up to $250,000 or both if convicted as charged. He was ordered held without bail after his initial arraignment before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michel J. Roemer pending further proceedings.
