Displaced by the sale of its Northtown Plaza site, My Tomato Pie is opening its new family restaurant on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
My Tomato Pie, founded in the Sheridan Drive plaza nearly 18 years ago, had its last day of business there Jan. 3. It will welcome fans with a grand opening Jan. 7 at 3035 Niagara Falls Blvd., in the Tops Plaza, a former Buffalo Wild Wings location.
The new place will seat 72 in the dining room, 20 at pub tables and 12 at the bar. A banquet room can hold 80, or be divided into two rooms.
The menu will include all of the My Tomato Pie favorites, like regular and gluten-free pizza, pastas, specialty salads, and vegetarian dishes, said Mary Scioli, whose husband Tony runs the place. There’ll be chicken wings and a fish fry added, and some hits from the Sciolis’ My Burger Bar menu, like build-your-own-burgers and spiked adult milkshakes.
