WILSON – A man faces drug and weapons charges after he was stopped for repeatedly crossing the center line on Route 18 in the Town of Wilson late last week.

Bradley R. Berner, 20, of Newfane was charged by state police with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped on Friday.

Troopers said they detected a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle found a Kung Fu Star in a black sheath, two black Batarang throwing weapons and two grams of marijuana in a plastic bag.

Berner was processed in the State Police station in the Town of Lockport and issued two appearance tickets. A return court date in the Town of Wilson was set for Jan. 28.
