Both hockey players owe fans an apology
So now we have two hockey players named Kane who have defended themselves against rape allegations by explaining that they picked up a woman in a bar and had consensual sex. What a relief. All they were doing was fornicating.
I suppose their fans in Buffalo and Chicago, including children and teens, should nod their heads with the assumption that this is what men do when they make it to the big time and are freed from the moral standards that govern the rest of us.
Aren’t these players embarrassed to admit to the whole country that they had casual sex with a stranger? The two Kanes owe an apology to their fans. And they should pledge to set a responsible example as role models for young people who hope someday to achieve their own goals.
