ELLICOTT – A Jamestown driver arrested early Friday after a short chase faces several charges after a traffic stop on Fairmount Avenue.
Donald W. Dean, 41, of Forest Avenue was impaired by drugs, according to Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies.
Dean also had marijuana and other drugs on him, deputies said, and had been convicted of driving while intoxicated within the past 10 years. He was charged with failure to use designated lane, failure to comply, unlawful possession of marijuana, felony driving while ability impaired by drugs and first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation. Additional charges are pending, deputies said.
