Frewsburg mom accused of illegally tattooing sons

FREWSBURG – A Frewsburg mother accused of tattooing the hands of her 12- and 13-year-old sons has been charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Chantilly L. Thomas, 34, of Emery Hill Road used a tattoo gun on the back of both boys’ hands, with “Ride or Die” etched on the 12-year-old and a lighning bolt on the 13-year-old. Thomas, deputies said, is not a licensed tattoo artist. The crime occurred in their home on Nov. 25, deputies said Thursday. The mother was released on her own recognizance pending a City Court appearance on Jan. 20.
