STOCKTON – A West Railroad Avenue man is accused of making methamphetamine in his home, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force reported on Friday.
Jesse L. Erhard, 34, who was arrested Thursday, is accused of unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies said they spotted illegal drug-making equipment on Dec. 22, when they went to Erhard’s home to serve an unrelated arrest warrant on another person. Police said they sent the county’s HazMat team to the residence on that date to collect dangerous toxic waste from the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Erhard was arraigned in Stockton Town Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 property bond, authorities said.
