I’d be happy not to read these stories in new year

I know The News has a journalistic responsibility to report the news of the day, but I would be more than pleased, if at all possible, not to read any more dreary reports in the new year of 2016 about the following topics:

Rex Ryan proclaiming that he is “building a bully” and to “get ready” because he is taking the Bills nation to the playoff promised land.

Any more stories about Lancaster adults acting like crazed juveniles on prom night, nearly coming to blows over, of all things, a high school mascot.

And last, but certainly not least, any reports of Beth Lynne Hoskins’ long-playing epic joke of a court battle with the SPCA, which has morphed into a grotesque caricature of a bad reality show.

Hope that’s not too much to ask for in 2016!
