Greeley Street woman arrested for knife-point robbery

A 26-year-old Greeley Street woman was arrested shortly after she allegedly staged a knife-point robbery at the Family Dollar Store at 333 Amherst St. early Tuesday evening.

Keanya Williams was caught about a block away from the store as she tried to run away from police about 6:40 p.m. She was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree criminal possession of stolen property. She also was charged with a felony count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after officers reported finding she had a gram of alleged crack cocaine and a bag of marijuana.
