Programs, sponsored by M&T Bank, include Shadow Plan on Monday, STEM Science Fun on Tuesday, Exploring the Northern Lights on Wednesday and Mixing Light & Color on Thursday. First Night Buffalo: 5 to 10 p.m., Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin St. Jeff Musial, the Animal Guy, a Bubble Black Light Party, American Ninja Warrior Training, Laser Maze, Family Fitness Challenge and Toddler Zone are part of the family fun. There is free parking in the Main Place Mall and Fernbach ramps, as well as at the University at Buffalo South Campus, Main Street and Bailey Avenue, where you can hop Metro Rail for a trip downtown.
