NIAGARA FALLS – A Whitney Avenue man was pistol-whipped by the brother of a former girlfriend Thursday morning as he attempted to retrieve property from her Willow Avenue home, Niagara Falls police said.
The victim went to the home about 11 a.m. and was confronted by the attacker, who pulled a handgun from his waistband and struck him on the temple, police said. The attacker also cocked the weapon and held it to the man’s forehead, threatening to shoot him, police added. The victim told police he fled and drove away quickly.
Police are investigating.
