SANBORN – Niagara County Community College has received a No. 1 national rating from onlinecolleges.net for its online degree program in information technology. The website works with the College Board and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to develop its findings, which were based on academic quality, online course offerings, cost and availability of student aid.
NCCC made sure to mention in its news release that while it was No. 1 among 25 colleges surveyed, Erie Community College rated only seventh.
The online associate’s degree program in computer information systems comprises 62 credit hours, and includes liberal arts and social science electives along with the computer courses. They are available through a full-time or part-time schedule.
Lisa Dubuc, coordinator of electronic learning, said NCCC serves more than 2,800 online students each year and offers nine blended or online degree or certificate programs.
