LEBO, Virginia Grace
LEBO - Virginia Grace On December 8, 2015, the world lost a gentle lady, age 97, born February 1, 1918. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Richard William Lebo, in 2004, her beloved brother, Everell Weiffenbach, and her beloved grandson, Reid William Nottoli, in 2011. She is survived by her daughters, Candace Giandana of Leander, TX and Phyllis Beima, and son-in-law, Greg Beima of Gilbert, AZ, her grandchildren, Heidi Rivera of Leander, TX, Christopher Giandana of Felton, CA, Kalin Hernandez and Zane Beima of Moor Park, CA, and great-grandchildren Andre, Emily, Jasmine and Jonathan; also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Virginia was born and grew up in Buffalo, attended East High School, 1930-34 and graduated with a Teaching degree in Home Economics from Buffalo State College, 1935-39. She was a teacher in Cohocton Central School and a secretary in Buffalo and the Ellwood Insurance Agency in Hamburg, NY, where she lived from 1946-2003. She and Richard were active members of the Hamburg Presbyterian Church until their move to Arizona in 2003, and she was a member of Beulah Chapter #176 O.E.S, and the Hamburg Antiques Study Group. Virginia loved quilting, sewing, oil painting and took classes in pastel painting until fall of 2014. She was a positive influence on her children and family and her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched. There will be no memorial service and she will be laid to rest alongside Richard at Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, NY in the early summer of 2016.
