An Olympic Avenue girl waiting for a bus on Niagara Street Friday was forced into a van, taken to a house at an unknown location and raped, Buffalo police reported.
The girl’s mother told police her daughter had visited a friend near Riverside High School after leaving the Boys and Girls Club on Skillen Street at 4:30 p.m. The girl was forced into a windowless van at the bus stop at 2165 Niagara, where the driver put a bag over head, police reported.
Police said the attacker took the girl to the house, where she was raped, then drove the girl back to Niagara and Ontario streets, where he left her.
The girl, whose age was not released, walked along Niagara to West Delavan Avenue, where she flagged down a car for help.
She was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital by ambulance, according to police.
The incident was reported early Saturday.
