Rebecca M. Tarnowski and Andrew D. Dybka were married at 2 p.m. on July 11 in St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Elma. Guests gathered for a reception at Kloc’s Grove in West Seneca. The Rev. Daniel J. Palys of St. Gabriel’s heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Bruce J. Tarnowski of Lancaster and Lola L. Vickner of Lancaster. The bridegroom’s parents are Stanley M. and Jacolyn K. Dybka of Cherry Creek. The bride, a graduate of Lancaster High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in childhood and special-education with a concentration in mathematics from Canisius College. The bride is an administrative assistant at Brock, Schechter & Polakoff. The groom, a graduate of Pine Valley Central High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Canisius College and also earned a master’s degree in business administration from Canisius College. The groom is a pricing analyst at North American Breweries. After a trip to St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Depew.
