A 16-year-old boy was arrested Saturday after police said he menaced a man with an apparent handgun – later determined to be a BB gun – when the man came to his house to borrow a phone.
Police said when the man went to the house on Walden Avenue near Walden Park, the teen answered the door and aimed the gun at the man’s head. The man fled and called 911. Police said they found a BB gun inside the home matching the description of the handgun.
The teen was charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment.
