Mayor Byron W. Brown and the City of Buffalo presented Say Yes Buffalo with 500 BAK Board tablets, manufactured by Buffalo-based BAK USA. The tablets will be distributed to college students who are the recipients of Say Yes Buffalo scholarships and grants. Say Yes Buffalo provides tuition scholarships to Buffalo public and charter school graduates to attend college and postsecondary programs. In addition to providing scholarships and grants, the Say Yes Buffalo partnership collaborates with various community stakeholders to increase the likelihood that Buffalo students graduate from high school and make it to and through college.
