Police ID ‘person of interest’ in Purdy Street shooting

Buffalo police have identified the man they’re looking for whose car crashed down onto the Kensington Expressway on Nov. 29.

Leonard Robinson Jr., 19, also is a “person of interest” in the shooting of two people, one of whom was killed, that day on Purdy Street.

After the shooting, Robinson’s car drove down Woodlawn Avenue and fell 25 to 30 feet from Humboldt Parkway onto the expressway.

Police said Robinson, also known as “Pooter,” may be injured and may be seeking medical treatment. Anyone who sees him should call 911 and not stop or confront him, police said.

The shooting on the 300 block of Purdy killed Antwaine Vance, 42, and injured Dominique Jackson, 24.

A woman who was in the car has been arrested and detained on $200,000 bail. Carresian Holloway, 19, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief with intent to damage property.
