Celoron man charged with DWI after hitting utility pole

PANAMA – State Police charged a Celoron man with drunken driving after he crashed into a utility pole and guard rail on Tuesday.

Raymond M. Bowen, 48, was driving on Route 474 in the Chautauqua County village of Panama when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed, State Police said.

After being treated and released from WCA Hospital in Jamestown, Bowen was charged with driving while intoxicated. He has an upcoming date in Harmony Town Court.
