Ellen Witoff and George Kotsis were married at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 in the Ballroom Garden at Avanti Mansion in Blasdell. Guests gathered for a reception in the Amore Ballroom at Avanti Mansion. The Rev. Deborah L. Turley of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Clarence, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Karen L. Halbert of Clarence and Neil B. Witoff of Highlands Ranch, Colo. The bridegroom’s parents are John and Debra Kotsis of Buffalo. The bride, a graduate of Clarence High School earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and French and Francophone studies from William Smith College, Geneva. The bride is a legal assistant at Richards & Kruger. The groom, a graduate of Hutchinson Central Technical High School, earned a degree in chemistry from the University at Buffalo. He is a general manager at the Melting Pot. After a trip to Aruba, the couple will make their home in Buffalo.
