A botched kidnapping attempt last month ended with three arrests and the wounding of one of the people arrested, West Seneca police said.
The three forced a victim into a car at gunpoint on Harlem Road last month. After driving to Buffalo, there was a struggle for a gun inside the moving vehicle and shots were fired.
One of the accused kidnappers, Willie Cannon, was struck by the gunfire, West Seneca police said.
The victim was able to get out of the vehicle and contacted police.
Cannon, 28, and Alicia Galley, 43, both of Buffalo, are being held without bail at the Erie County Holding Center. Bail for Richard Serrano, 20, also of Buffalo, was set at $100,000. He is due in West Seneca Town Court on Thursday.
Buffalo police assisted with the investigation and apprehension of the three, police said.
