Thomas J. Marino, a retired insurance sales representative, died Friday in Brompton Heights, Amherst, where he had been a resident. He was 92.
Born in Buffalo, he served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a radio operator on B-24 bombers.
A longtime Town of Tonawanda resident, Mr. Marino worked for 30 years as a sales representative for Prudential Insurance Co., retiring in 1984.
In retirement, he was a volunteer tax preparer at the Tonawanda Senior Center.
Active in Tonawandas Post 264, American Legion, he served as commander, vice commander and treasurer. He also was treasurer for the Town of Tonawanda Senior Citizens Association.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, the former Joan S. Rizzo; three daughters, Marylyn Wright, Jean Pastore and Diane Renda; a sister, Judith LoFaso; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Amelia’s Catholic Church, 2999 Eggert Road, Town of Tonawanda.
