It’s time to step up fight so we can defeat cancer
Daily, we hear differing opinions from our politicians on how to counter terrorism and protect our U.S. borders.
Unfortunately, we have a form of terrorism in this country that has been largely ignored by our politicians since President Richard Nixon declared the War on Cancer in 1971.
Currently, we lose 11,000 of our fellow U.S. citizens every week to cancer. That is the equivalent of one of our twin towers going down every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Please join me by going online (to cancermission2020.org) to sign the Cancer Mission 2020 petition. This is a grass-roots effort urging our politicians to give the cure to cancer the attention it deserves.
By utilizing our financial and intellectual resources in a more unified and concerted effort, there is no reason why a country as great as the United States cannot defeat cancer by the end of the decade.
