Bills/Chiefs: Former 2nd round pick Cyrus Kouandjio a healthy scratch

KANSAS CITY --- Tackle Cyrus Kouandjio is a healthy scratch Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. Certainly this isn't the scenario the Bills envisioned when they drafted this hulking 6-foot-7, 322-pounder out of Alabama 44th overall in the 2014 NFL draft.

So Kouandjio, who actually began training camp with the starters at St. John Fisher College under new coach Rex Ryan, will not be in uniform. Instead, midseason pick-up Jordan Mills will back up starters Cordy Glenn and Seantrel Henderson.

Kouandjio did not appear on the injury report this week.

Otherwise, there weren't many surprises on the Bills' side of this battle between 5-5 teams. EJ Manuel is indeed the No. 2 quarterback ahead of Josh Johnson. For Kansas City, it could be the Spencer Ware Show at running back. Charcandrick West, who's been effective in place of Jamaal Charles (torn ACL), is officially out with a hamstring injury.
