A Hamburg man with a suspended driver’s license and a previous alcohol-related conviction faces drunk-driving and felony aggravated unlicensed driving charges after his arrest early Wednesday.
Orchard Park police pulled over Thomas J. Geary, 50, on Weiss Road just after midnight when his vehicle was seen speeding and swerving from lane to lane on Orchard Park Road.
Geary, who had an open beer inside his vehicle, has had his driver’s license suspended four times and had an alcohol-related conviction in Buffalo in 2011, police said.
Police charged Geary with first- and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated and driving without a license. They ticketed him for a number of violations, including failing to submit to a breath test, having an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and speeding.
He was held on $500 bail, police said.
