Two Rochester women were charged with prostitution after residents complained to police of recent prostitution activities in various Erie County hotels, Erie County Sheriff’s deputies reported.
Tyler M. Washington, 24, of Jackson Street, Rochester, and Tina Saber, 31, of St. Stanislaus Street, Rochester, were charged Thursday with prostitution, a misdemeanor, deputies reported Saturday. Saber was charged additionally with a violation for marijuana.
Sheriff’s deputies from the Narcotics Unit initiated an investigation into prostitution complaints, which resulted in the arrests of the two women after they traveled from Rochester to engage in prostitution on Transit Road in the Town of Clarence.
The two women were taken to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment in Clarence Town Court.
