Duplicate Bridge: Nov. 21

A Tribute to the Bridge Greats of Buffalo will be given at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Bridge Center of Buffalo, followed by a pairs game. Honorees include Tom Donnelly, Mary Dowd, Gerry Fried, Nat Gerstman, John Kilmer, Jim Mathis, Mary McKenna, Margaret McCarthy, Peter Mollemet, Roselle Selikoff, Tom Wolstoncroft and Agnes Gordon.


The Airport Bridge Club offers extra points at all of its games from this Saturday, Nov. 21, to next Saturday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. Bridge Club Meridian will award extra points at its pairs game at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23.


Congratulations to Saleh Fetouh, who earned the most master points – 67.77 – of all the Buffalo area players competing in the Niagara Falls, Ont., Regional Tournament Nov. 10 to 15. He was fifth overall.

Other leading point winners included Dian Petrov, 40.07 (27th), Jill Wooldridge, 36.37 (37th), Chris Urbanek, 32.72 (42nd), Bud Seidenberg, 26.91 (53rd), John Ziemer, 25.28 (60th), Shakeel Ahmad and Manju Ceylony, 25.23 (tied for 61st), David Hemmer, 25.14 (63rd) and Mike Ryan, 19.22 (87th).


Western New York Unit 116 regularly schedules unit-sponsored games. They include:
