Video game systems targeted in thefts at three Niagara Falls homes

NIAGARA FALLS – Video game systems were targeted in thefts during three break-ins Friday and Saturday, Niagara Falls police reported.

A Pine Avenue home that was targeted between 6 and 7 a.m. Saturday while residents were asleep yielded a Playstation 4 video game unit worth $650.

A Playstation 3 unit was stolen from an Ontario Avenue home between 4 and 5 p.m. Friday. The homeowner told police he found no sign of forced entry.

A Ninth Street home was hit between 3 and 4 p.m. Friday. Stolen were a Playstation 2 console and accessories, a DVD player and clothing. The loss was estimated at $665.
