East Aurora police released photos of two masked robbers who held up a pharmacy in the normally placid village over the weekend, forcing customers to the ground and a worker into a bathroom before fleeing with prescription medication.
At about 9 p.m. Saturday, two robbers, one in a mask and the other with a bandana over his face, entered Larwood’s Pharmacy, at 597 Oakwood Ave.
Employees and witnesses told police that the robbers pushed two customers to the ground at gunpoint and forced an employee into the bathroom, police said.
One of the robbers displayed a black handgun and climbed over the display cases into the pharmacy. The robber ordered the pharmacist to get narcotics. The robbers took a plastic bin filled with prescription pills, along with a customer’s purse, and fled the area on foot.
No one was injured in the incident.
The investigation is continuing.
