Key Bank in Lancaster robbed

Lancaster police are searching for a man who held up the Key Bank branch on Broadway on Thursday morning.

The robber entered the branch at 5207 Broadway and passed a note to the teller demanding cash, police said. He did not display a weapon, police said.

The man fled with an undetermined amount of cash south on Irwinwood Road, where police suspect he may have gotten into a waiting vehicle.

Detectives are investigating whether the incident is tied to any other recent bank robberies in the area.
