Arrested for drugs after being asked why he was walking with two bikes

A 40-year-old Allen Street man was arrested on felony drug and other charges after police stopped to ask him why he was walking with two bicycles in the 300 block of Prospect Avenue late Wednesday morning.

Edwardo Bolton-Ramos was arrested when the officers who approached him saw him reach into his trousers pocket and throw a metal crack pipe on the lawn. He was also found to be carrying a baggie of suspected heroin and a small white rock of suspected crack cocaine. Bolton-Ramos was charged with third and seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substances and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
