Since kids like wearing their costumes and love candy, and if you want to start your Christmas shopping – why not bring them to the special events being held at malls across the area. Here are some fun, family-friendly events for this week leading up to the big night.
On Oct. 28, hit up the Fashion Outlets of Niagara for some great times for a great cause. The outlets will hold a Boo Bash from 4 to 9 p.m. Your little sweeties can collect some sweets during the free indoor trick-or-treating. They will also have balloon artists, face painting and crafts, all for $1. The proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish. This is a great event for kids of all ages. Your kids can have a blast and you can feel good knowing the money raised will help grant the wish of a child in Western New York. How sweet is that.
On Oct. 29, head on over to the Walden Galleria for the Galleria of Treats. The indoor trick-or-treating runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $2 for standard and $3 for VIP. The proceeds go to Kids Escaping Drugs.
Also on Oct. 29, kids can trick-or-treat at the Boulevard Mall beginning at 5 p.m. Kids in costume can collect candy for free, from participating retailers while supplies last.
On Oct. 30, the Eastern Hills Mall will hold its 10th annual Mall-o-ween Extravaganza with trick-or-treating from 5 to 7 p.m. Kids can collect prizes and candy for a donation of $2 each. All donations benefit Essential Care for Children.
On Oct. 31, bring the kiddos to the McKinley Mall from 6 to 8 p.m.. The fun, free trick-or-treating includes participating stores while supplies last.
There you go, a bunch of indoor options since this is Western New York and we never know what the weather will be like. Have fun.
