Networking event aims to inspire minority, female entrepreneurs

Think Big with 43North, a networking event to create opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses and inspire entrepreneurship throughout Western New York, will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Buffalo Marriott HARBORCENTER.

Women- and minority-owned teams triMirror and KeepUp, prior winners in the 43North business competition, as well as Sharon Randcaccio of Performance Management Partners and Red Siren boutique, and Louise Sano of Global Villages and Global Chic clothing store, will share their business experiences during an interactive discussion and Q&A. That will be followed by a networking reception.

Working with Jennifer J. Parker, its minority and women liaison, 43North doubled its minority and female entrepreneur registrants this year and wants to increase that number in the 2016 competition. The networking event also is sponsored by Parker’s Black Capital Network, the Canisius College Women Business Center and the Buffalo Niagara chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
