Michelle L. Spencer and Christopher J. Trala were married at noon on June 27 in St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Elma. Guests gathered for a reception at Pearl Street Grill and Brewery in Buffalo. The Rev. Daniel J. Palys, pastor of St. Gabriel’s Church, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are John T. and Cheryl L. Spencer of Depew. The bridegroom’s parents are John and Donna Lee Trala of Cheektowaga. The bride, a graduate of Depew High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in literacy education from Medaille College. The bride is a teacher at Mary Queen of Angels. The groom, a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Cheektowaga, earned an associate degree in automotive technology from Erie Community College. He is an environmental engineer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. After a trip to St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Depew.
