Many farmers markets to serve their last customers of the season this week

Seasonal farmers market season will continue through November on Saturday mornings at Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway, Wednesday and Saturday mornings through Thanksgiving in East Aurora and daily at Walnut and Cottage streets in Lockport.

Year round farm markets will continue to ply their trades in North Tonawanda, Niagara Falls and elsewhere.

But this week will mark the end of markets in several locations.

Those having their last gatherings of the season in the coming days include:

Southern Tier Farmers Market: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jefferson Park, 12 Park St., Salamanca.

Middleport Community Farmers Market: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Wilson Farms Middleport, 79 Telegraph Road.

Southern Tier Farmers Market: 11 a.m. Thursday, 32 Willets Ave., Belmont.

Downtown Jamestown Farmers Market: Noon Thursday, Cherry Street between 2nd and 3rd streets.

Pendleton Farmers Market: 3 p.m. Thursday, Pendleton Town Park, 6570 Campbell Blvd.

Southern Tier Farmers Market Olean: 2 p.m. Friday, 1900 Constitution Ave.

The Williamsville Farmers Market: 8 a.m. Saturday, Island Park, Main Street, Amherst.

Fredonia Farmers Market: 9 a.m. Saturday, Church Street.
