Elizabeth Hock and Clayton Moden were married at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 in the historic Hunt Chapel at Eden Methodist Church in Eden. The groom and his father-in-law renovated the interior of the church that had been vacant for more than 25 years. The bride’s parents and grandparents had previously been married there. Guests gathered for a reception at the Mansion on Delaware in Buffalo. The Rev. Al Howe of Eden Methodist and Pastor Bruce Benson of Colden heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are David and Linda Hock of Eden. The bridegroom’s parents are the late Charles and Ann Moden of East Aurora. The bride, a graduate of Eden Central School, earned a bachelor’s degree at the University at Buffalo and is currently earning her graduate degree at D’Youville College Chiropractic School. The groom, a graduate of East Aurora High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Canisius College. He is a morning radio host at WYRK. After a trip to Lake Placid, the couple will make their home in Hamburg.
