Costume contests and scarecrow making in store for final weekend at Great Pumpkin Farm

Final-weekend Fall Festival activities at the Great Pumpkin Farm, 11199 Main St., include Halloween costume contests with cash prizes.

At 2 p.m. Sunday, prizes will be awarded in the infant to 6-year-old and 7- to 16-year-old categories for cutest costume, scariest costume and most creative costume. Prize winners in the 17 and older category will be announced at 3 p.m.

Other Fall Festival activities on Sunday include pie eating, scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating and mummy wrapping, along with a crafts area for kids. Hours are 10 a.m. to dusk through Halloween. Weekend admission is $7. Weekdays are free. Discount tickets are available at Wegmans supermarkets.
