DONOHUE - Anne Marie (Marmeno)
69, peacefully left us on October 21, 2015, concluding a three-and-a-half year cancer battle. Anne Marie was born in Scranton, PA, raised in Buffalo, NY and called Manlius, NY home for 37 years. Anne Marie received a BS in Nursing from SUNY-Buffalo in 1968. Her nursing career began at the VA Hospital in Buffalo and continued for 25 years at Brighton Hill Pediatrics. Anne Marie loved traveling, gardening, reading and all sports. She was actively involved in the Junior League, Four Seasons Garden Club and St. Ann's Church. Anne Marie leaves behind a legacy of love to include her devoted husband of 46 years, Donald; her son Trey (Catherine) of Marlborough, MA; her loving and caring sister Jo Ann Frisicaro (Vincent) of Elma, NY; sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Donohue of Framingham, MA; nieces Joelle Isley (Carl) of Manlius and Erica Pawlowski (Jay) of Kenmore, NY; nephew Adam Frisicaro (Jody) of Canton, MI and the five loves of her life: Callan Isley, Emma Donohue, Gavin Isley, Tessa Donohue and Alana Isley. A Mass of Peace and Remembrance will be held at St. Ann's Church, 104 Academy St., Manlius, on Monday, October 26 at 10:30 AM. A reception in Anne Marie's honor will immediately follow at Onondaga Golf and Country Club, 7003 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville, NY. The family wishes to thank the physicians and staff of Hematology/Oncology Associates, Crouse Hospital Floor 4 South, and Crouse Hospital Palliative Medicine for their loving care. Donations in Anne Marie's honor may be sent to St. Ann's Church, 104 Academy St., Manlius, NY 13014.
