A new center at Medaille College will provide counseling to people and help train grad students – at the same time.
The Medaille Family Counseling Center will offer treatment and counseling in mental health issues for the public, and will serve as a place where graduate students in some of Medaille’s academic programs do training in their fields.
The new center is a joint effort of the Buffalo college and Lake Shore Behavioral Health.
It is located at 95 West Humboldt Parkway and is part of the Medaille campus complex.
People to be served by the center do not need to be enrolled in or affiliated with Medaille, a spokeswoman for Lake Shore said.
