LOCKPORT – A Town of Niagara man who took part in a burglary last year at the Ashland Advanced Materials warehouse in Niagara Falls pleaded guilty Thursday.
Garrett M. Schinabeck, 32, of Rhode Island Avenue, admitted to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree burglary and was scheduled for sentencing Jan. 7 by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. The maximum sentence is four years in prison.
A co-defendant in the Aug. 4, 2014, break-in, Bryan Harvey, 28, of 59th Street, Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty last month to third-degree criminal mischief and is awaiting sentencing. A $5,000 restitution tab was part of the plea deal.
