LOCKPORT – Julius T. Hall, 30, of 17th Street, Niagara Falls, pleaded not guilty in Niagara County Court Wednesday to an indictment accusing him of taking part in a June 28 shooting incident in the Falls. His cousin, Dyrek E. Hall, 19, of 21st Street, was arraigned last week on the same charges.
Assistant District Attorney Claudette S. Caldwell said both Halls are charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. They are accused of firing shots that struck a house and a car, but no injuries were reported.
Dyrek Hall was arrested Oct. 7 and charged in three other incidents. He was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly shooting a man in the knee outside a 19th Street store Sept. 26; attempted first-degree assault and reckless endangerment in an Oct. 5 shooting attempt; and a gun and drug possession arrest Oct. 7. Judge Sara Sheldon ordered Dyrek Hall held without bail.
