Lancaster woman charged with DWI in Marilla

A Town of Lancaster woman who pulled over on Clinton Street in Marilla on Sunday afternoon for what she mistakenly assumed was a routine State Police DWI road check ended up being charged with felony driving while intoxicated and with using a cell phone while driving.

Crystallynn Masternak-Guzdek, 43, ended up being charged with felony driving while intoxicated because of a prior DWI incident and because she registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.24 percent, three times the state’s legal limit.

She was also charged with a cell phone violation.

She faces proceedings in Marilla Town Court in several weeks.
