A benefit will be held for a 12-year-old Akron boy named Lucas on Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Akron Methodist Free Church, 6 Scotland Road. Lucas is suffering from Leukemia and will be traveling to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City on Oct. 7 for T-Cell treatment, one of several trips he will make over the next few months. The benefit, which is professional wrestling themed, will include a barbecue, basket raffles, a bake sale and guest speakers. Advance tickets are $10; $15 at the door. Children under five are free.
