PERICAK - Edward P. Died September 23, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Anne (McMahon); dear father of Kathleen (Scott) Pericak-Spector, William (Arlene) Pericak, Maureen (Michael) Sikule, Deborah (late Doug) Eaton, Thomas (Patricia) Pericak, Patrick (Kathryn) Pericak; loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and great-grandfather of five. Funeral from the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Buffalo Chapel), 2397 Seneca Street, Monday at 9:00 AM and from St. Martin of Tours Church at 9:30 AM. Family will be present Sunday from 2-7:00 PM. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials to Canisius High School or Mercy Hospital Foundation appreciated. Ed Pericak was a devoted husband and father. He began working in the lumber business, returned to school to obtain his Master's degree in education, and later became a senior job counselor for the NYS Department of Labor, where he was in charge of assisting military veterans in securing employment. He was a Korean War veteran and member of American Legion Post #63. An avid golfer, he set the course record at Ransom Oaks when it opened in 1969, and also played in the Porter Cup.
