Driver with no tail light charged with DRI

MAYVILLE – A 40-year-old Silver Creek woman pulled over on Route 5 near Route 20 in the Town of Hanover early Monday because her vehicle lacked working tail lights ended up also charged with drunken driving with an already-suspended driver’s license.

Tonya M. Penvose was charged by Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies about 2:51 a.m. with driving while intoxicated, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a Vehicle & Traffic infraction of no working tail lights on her vehicle. She was ticketed and ordered to appear in Hanover Town Court for proceedings in several weeks.
