Criminal suspect jailed on obstruction charges

A 51-year-old Grider Street man who police said was a suspect in several recent crimes was taken into custody on obstruction charges after he allegedly tried to run away from uniformed Buffalo police officers who confronted him on Kensington Avenue near Bailey Avenue late Sunday night.

Terriss Robinson was taken into custody after a brief foot chase along Bailey Avenue after he allegedly ran from officers on Kensington Avenue about 10 p.m. Sunday. He faces court proceeding on charges of second-degree obstruction of governmental administration.
